Criteria for Applying to Study Abroad?

To kick off the application process, the initial step is to identify the ideal course and university that align with your preferences. A dedicated counsellor from Grace Study Abroad will assist you in making an informed decision tailored to your tastes.

Once you’ve made your decision, the application procedures commence. Each country and university have their unique admission criteria, with varying document requirements to verify the authenticity of applicants.

As part of the process, you’ll need to submit a compelling Statement of Purpose (SOP), addressing queries such as why you’ve chosen this specific course and university, and the goals you aim to achieve post-completion. Our experienced study abroad consultants will offer unparalleled support in crafting an SOP that resonates convincingly with the authorities.

Upon acceptance of the SOP, you’ll proceed to the next phase of submitting requisite documents to the authorities, including academic transcripts, work experience proof (if applicable), passport, ID card, and bank statements.

Following seat approval, fee payment becomes necessary, with the fee structure varying across colleges and universities. We’ll provide comprehensive guidance on your financial obligations as an applicant and student, leveraging our partnerships with reputable banks to offer financial assistance.

What Document Required to Submit When I Apply?

As already said, the documents required for the process may vary from country to country or university. However, in general, the below-mentioned documents are necessary to start the process.

Academic transcripts include all the educational qualification certificates. The following certificates are required to submit as part of the application procedure.

  • SSLC / 10th / Secondary School Certificate
  • SSLC / 10th / Secondary School Certificate
  • 12th / Higher Secondary School Certificate
  • Degree Certificates with semester mark list copies
  • Master Degree Certificates with semester mark list copies

The authenticity of the certificates is important to get admission

The work experience certificate is an added advantage for students. The experience certificate is submitted along with the application and the university assessment team can analyse it to understand your skills and abilities. You become more visible as a student and an expert in your field.

The candidate is responsible for submitting a copy of the first and last pages of the passport as part of the admission process. If the applicant doesn’t have one, you can apply for it at the nearest Passport Seva Kendra. The tatkal option ensures speedy delivery of the passport even if it is a bit pricey.

IELTS is mandatory to get admission in the abroad universities and colleges. There are exceptions in this case if the candidate has excellent scores in their 10th and 12th grades. However, most universities prefer IELTS scores with at least 6.0 marks.

What is IELTS?

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is an internationally accepted method to understand the language knowledge of non-native English speakers. British Council and IDP are the internationally recognised organizations responsible for conducting IELTS tests for students applying for abroad study programs. The high scores in the IELTS test prove your language skills when communicating with native speakers, and the minimum cut-off mark varies from university to university. Insight International helps you register with IDP and British Council for IELTS. For more information on the application process, Contact Us.
